I won't be around so can't say for certain about participating in the Slow Food School Garden Tour, although I think it's a great idea. I'm going to copy this thread onto email and cc several people who can help or might be interested in participating. I'm sorry it looks like we won't get a chance to meet! Sounds like you are really making a difference in regard to kids' gardening!

Would you be interesting in volunteering your organizational skills to manage a youth garden plot at Scottsdale Community College? I have been the garden's manager for over a year, but am moving out of town next month. Attached to the garden is a composting project and a desert natives planting project. Currently, everyone at AZHS volunteers, but the future may bring paid opportunities. Please contact me if you are interested and would like to discuss further! Best,
