I have been down to Civano. While it is a very worthwhile tour, I am not sure how applicable it is to transition towns, as it is a very suburban kind of setting with many sustainable principles in place. It is beautiful and interesting. I wouldn't d…

Hi MaryLou:

I feel you'll get the most interest if you post your requests directly to these two groups:
--Transition Towns
--Tempe Action Group
That way people in each of those groups can get the info directly.

I know Nayeema and Lis - who usually organize events for the Tempe group - host monthly meetings which often include food or movies.

Hi MaryLou, do you want to stop by the garden sometime and get some seeds? I'll be there this Sunday morning and am in the process of figuring out which mornings next week.

Darn, I just realized chard isn't even on that calendar? Well, we started watering in Sept/Oct, and whatever seeds were in the ground started growing immediately and we've still got some now.

Hi MaryLou! Check out the planting calendar attached. We had so much chard at our garden at SCC, we couldn't eat it all, and we didn't even plant it. I'm planning to save seeds for any who want. It is going to seed now.
