Censorship is what is ugly.

One should not protest so strongly and so erroneously. Freedom of speech is a good thing, a pointing out what is behind something is nothing to become angry about. One small thing to consider is the 150 is a good thing. Helping St Vincent's is a go…

Only after it was pointed out who was really behind this, not up front like it needed to be. What price a few trees here, so many acres taken down there?

Yes, but you take what Doreen said out of context. I just think it is important for people to understand what is behind something. It is the same kind of mentallity that promotes so much of what is claimed to be wrong with many of the commercial org…

Yes, it is not uncommon, not good for the tree the first year transplanted, but common enough.

Healthy Eating Series: 5 Ways to Keep Your Healthy Eating Resolutions Alive

The National Cancer Institute recommends that we eat 5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. But in this fast world of ours of shuffling between work, kids’ sports and after school activities and all, our foods tend to be convenience foods: fast food or just frozen pre-packaged convenience foods.

Although the benefits of eating the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables are clear, with studies showing the likelihood of reduced risks of diseases, most of Americans still d… Continue

I appreciate your offer. Anytime you are available, I'm pretty flexible. I would like to know what kind of $$$ i'm looking at (I can figure that part out).

Hi Chris,
I planted seeds two weeks ago and put them in my portable greenhouse. Only signs of life is 2 swiss chard. Shouldn't I be seeing signs of life by now? Any insight is helpful

Aloha Chris!
This note may be a tad late in coming, but I wanted to thank you for the wealth of information you shared with me and my friends at the SCC garden a couple of weeks ago regarding grape vines, corn, etc. It was very helpful having you show me the different ways the various gardeners were growing, each with its pros and cons.

I've already passed on your handouts and their link to some interested parties.
Hope to see you at another event.
Have a great holiday season!
