Please consider attending the first Arizona Community Listening Sessions on Tuesday, March 23, noon - 1:30 p.m. or
Wednesday, March 31, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at 4341 E. Broadway Road, Phoenix,
85040. The Arizona Community Listening Sessions are an undertaking of the
Arizona Cooperative Extension (ACE), the outreach arm of The University of
Arizona. By linking the university and the citizens of the state,
Extension serves as a statewide network of knowledgeable faculty and staff that
provides lifelong educational programs for all Arizonans.
Arizonans will be invited to identify, discuss, and define their community’s current and future water issues at forums
to be held in several Arizona counties beginning in March 2010. The
Listening Session format will provide a model for stakeholder engagement,
identifying water issues and solutions for the future of Arizona. The
information gathered from the sessions will assist Extension, agencies and
communities in identifying regional and statewide citizen concerns about water
resources. They will also facilitate the development of more informed water
education programs and may inform future water planning efforts.
Please address questions and RSVPs to Nancy Crocker at 602-827-8200 ext. 335 or NCrocker@cals.arizona.edu. RSVPs are encouraged, not required.
It is important that your voice is heard!
Please share this message. We would like to include a wide public.
